Notice of agreement to sell Worley Field Services business in the UK

Worley has entered an agreement to sell its Worley Field Services (WFS) business in the UK by way of a share sale to Poluma Group, parent company of Allied Protek, a local design, engineering, and project management company.
Under the share purchase agreement, the Poluma Group will acquire all the shares in Worley Field Services Limited. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closure conditions, which are expected to be achieved by 27 June 2025.
The decision to divest WFS represents Worley’s commitment to actively manage its portfolio in line with its strategy. The transition also marks an important milestone and opportunity for WFS in Grimsby to grow and continue delivering for its customers.
Worley Chief Executive Officer Chris Ashton said, “We appreciate the value that the team at Field Services has contributed over the years and have no doubt that they will continue to succeed.”
WFS employs approximately 250 people and has been providing fabrication and construction, operations and maintenance (O&M), and turnaround services to the UK for 60 years. It will be kept whole as it rebrands to Allied Protek Field Services and continues to operate as a standalone entity.

The Poluma Group (Allied Protek) is a leading employer of skilled labour in Grimsby, with four centres in the UK, working on projects internationally. The core of the business is supporting blue chip clients within food, manufacturing, munitions, personal care and chemical sectors.
