We apply our expertise across the entire chemicals supply chain, from traditional methanol plant technologies to first-of-a-kind designs.
We have full in-house expertise in designing methanol plants, including both greenfield projects and existing plant revamps. Our technology-neutral position ensures investment-efficient and fit-for-purpose plants to meet project goals.
We also work across traditional ammonia production derived from syngas feedstocks as well as green hydrogen-based synthesis. Our knowledge of ammonia synthesis, process efficiency, and available technologies supports the production of grey, blue, or green ammonia to provide the ammonia production technology pathway that meets our customers’ needs, including fertilizers and low carbon fuels.

Our experience
We’ve worked on some of the world’s most significant emerging methanol and green ammonia projects, including:
- designing the world’s first green methanol demonstration plant in Iceland, which has been operational at 10 MTPD for more than 10 years
- delivering FEED services for an eMethanol facility in Sweden at more than 50,000 tonnes per annum
- introducing new reforming technologies and CO2 injection to debottleneck a methanol production facility and increase production by 35 percent
- relocating a methanol unit while increasing its capacity.
