Five-year North Sea EPC renewal extends Worley’s long‑standing partnership with CNOOC
Worley has secured a five-year renewal of its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with CNOOC International’s UK business, extending a long-standing partnership focused on supporting safe, reliable and efficient offshore operations.
Under the renewed agreement, Worley will continue delivering EPC services across CNOOC’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) assets, including the Scott, Buzzard and Golden Eagle fields. The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, completions and decommissioning services, from like-for-like replacements through to complex brownfield modifications and larger project scopes.
The award reinforces Worley’s long-term commitment to the North Sea and the Aberdeen area, and supporting the continued development of the regional energy supply chain.

Delivering value through a trusted partnership
Over the past 12 years, Worley has delivered more than 1,100 scopes of work under the previous framework agreement, helping CNOOC maintain the integrity and performance of its offshore assets. This proven delivery record, combined with deep asset knowledge, enables Worley to provide efficient solutions that minimise operational disruption and maximise value.
Safety remains central to the partnership, having executed more than five million work hours without a Lost Time Incident in 12 years. This performance reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to maintaining high safety standards across North Sea operations.
Supporting the future of North Sea operations
Graham Swan, Senior Vice President, UK, Worley said:
“This renewal highlights the strength of our long-standing partnership with CNOOC and the consistent performance of our team in the North Sea. As offshore assets mature, operators are increasingly looking for flexible delivery models that balance operational performance, asset integrity and long-term value, and Worley is well positioned to deliver that. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with CNOOC to support safe and efficient operations across their UK assets over the next five years.”
