Leading engineering for the Diablillos Definitive Feasibility Study
We’ve been selected by AbraSilver Resource Corp. to lead engineering for the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) of the Diablillos silver-gold project in Salta and Catamarca Provinces, Argentina.
Our teams in Canada and Argentina will collaborate to deliver the DFS, drawing on our experience in mining and mineral processing and our ongoing work in Argentina's Puna region.
The study will incorporate the updated Mineral Reserve Estimates and assess various opportunities in mine planning, infrastructure, power supply and key capital components.
We expect to deliver the DFS in Q1 2026, supporting AbraSilver's target for a construction decision in the second half of 2026.

“We are very excited to partner with Worley to unlock the potential of the Diablillos project and advance towards an investment decision”, said Jeremy Weyland, Senior Vice President, Projects and Development, AbraSilver. “Their bench strength in mining and mineral processing and ongoing EPCM work with our neighbors in the lithium sector provide a unique combination of global expertise and local project execution in Argentina.”
“The collaboration between our Argentina and Canada East teams on this project showcases our combined strengths in traditional and sustainable mining practices. Diablillos can create a template for our work between regions and highlight our technical expertise and commitment to sustainable development in high-altitude regions,” said Robert Hepburn, Vice President, MM&M Canada.
We look forward to working closely with AbraSilver’s teams to advance and de-risk the Diablillos project.
