Laura Leonard – welcoming our new Executive Group Director, Worley Digital
Laura Leonard, Worley’s new Executive Group Director of Worley Digital from 1 July 2025 is embracing her role with enthusiasm.
Laura leads an integrated information, technology, cybersecurity, data and applied intelligence group dedicated to delivering Worley’s data-centric and technology-enabled future.
Worley’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Ashton, said, “Laura’s appointment strengthens our ability to deliver secure, innovative solutions for our customers, as we continue building momentum in technology and sustainability, together.”
Laura most recently served as Worley’s Group President of Technology Solutions. She’s a seasoned leader with more than 20 years’ experience in energy and chemical technologies. Having begun in research and development, she’s known for translating innovative ideas into executable engineering solutions for customers.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and is an author on 38 US patents.
She succeeds Anup Sharma, who made a significant contribution to our digital and AI capabilities before his departure.
