Worley delivers FEEDs for Indonesia’s flagship LNG and CCS development
Worley is supporting INPEX’s Abadi LNG Project, a planned energy development under Indonesia’s Proyek Strategis Nasional (National Strategic Project) program. The project is expected to contribute to Indonesia’s energy security and support its net zero 2060 goals.
Worley’s scope included front-end engineering design (FEED) for two key offshore infrastructure packages in the Masela Block, covering approximately 150 km of subsea infrastructure, gas export pipelines, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) pipelines.
Once developed, the INPEX project is expected to produce approximately 9.5 million tonnes of LNG annually and incorporate CCS to support regional energy demand while contributing to country’s emission reduction goals.
Led by Worley’s team in Indonesia, the FEEDs were delivered with specialists from the Subsea Centre of Excellence in Singapore and teams in Perth and Malaysia, bringing together expertise from across the region.
"We’re pleased to support INPEX to progress this significant development for Indonesia. Our work to successfully deliver the FEEDs demonstrates how Worley brings together deep local knowledge and specialist expertise from across our global business to help advance complex energy developments."
