Ørsted selects Worley for long‑term agreement to support power generation assets
Worley has signed a long-term agreement with Ørsted, Denmark’s leading energy company, to deliver engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services.
The eight‑year agreement (6+1+1) supports Ørsted’s power generation assets across Denmark, including carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiatives.
Following the recent award of the GAIA CO2 Pipeline Project, this new agreement deepens Worley’s partnership and reflects a shared focus to advancing Denmark’s energy infrastructure and supporting the country’s decarbonization efforts.
“This award from Ørsted underlines our growing presence in the Nordics. It reinforces our strategic ambition to expand across the region and deliver sustainable energy solutions,” says Jan Narvestad, SVP Worley Nordics. “By deepening our collaboration with key customers like Ørsted, we’re unlocking new opportunities to support the energy transition and reinforce our position as a trusted partner in Denmark and the Nordics.”
Ørsted’s facilities are critical to Denmark’s energy supply. Located in densely populated areas, with significant operational footprints, they require high safety and environmental standards. Worley will prioritize risk mitigation and apply resilient engineering, robust design, and transparent collaboration to help ensure safe and sustainable operations.
Delivery will be powered by Worley’s Global Integrated Delivery (GID) model – drawing on expertise from teams in Denmark, the Nordics, London, the Hague, and Mumbai. This combination of specialized teams ensures Worley brings local insight and global capability to every project.
