Building infrastructure that powers the world

We partner with our customers to design, build, and complete their construction projects efficiently, safely and in compliance with regulations.

We’re more than just a construction contractor. We offer a full range of construction services that can be delivered as either an integrated offering or standalone. This includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM), construction management, and standalone construction projects.

From pre-construction to commissioning, our construction experts ensure consistency of delivery, whether its subcontracted, provided through a construction partner, or self-performed with our global network of construction resources.

Delivering projects faster with integrated teams

Our integrated approach to project delivery simplifies project interfaces and drives construction-led design, resulting in shorter schedules, lower costs, and greater quality and certainty of outcomes.

Through our network of partners across the supply chain and multiple projects, our model brings true industrialization to capital project delivery, optimizing standardization and modularization to reduce recurring design costs and maximize off-site construction.

Data driven intelligence is critical to our integrated project delivery. Based on our broad knowledge and project delivery experience, we adopt the best-in-class tools to ensure our customers make the right decisions.

Fabrication and modularization

We offer fabrication and modularization services through our yards in Norway, UK, USA and Canada. And we work with a global network of fabrication vendors, giving our customers flexibility to decide which services we deliver for their projects.

We’re a world leader in the design and installation of modular industrial facilities. Our modularization offering is designed to safely and cost effectively deliver capital projects. It helps to reduce overall total installed cost, deliver cost and schedule certainty, remove work from hostile and extreme environments, minimize disruption to exiting brownfield operations, and provide standardization, repeatability, and reuse.

Our construction and fabrication yards

We offer fully integrated EPC services including in-house engineering and design, procurement, fabrication, and construction services across Western Canada. Our teams fabricate and assemble hundreds of transportable modules each year. We have two modularization assembly yards in Edmonton and Blackfalds, and a fabrication shop in Edmonton, spanning more than 100 acres of land.

We ship these modules – averaging over 350,000 pounds – across Canada and the US, enabling faster execution of projects that require fabricated structures like heavy oil facilities, gas plants, power stations, mine sites, solar farms, hydrogen, waste-to-heat and other industrial facilities. We also provide construction services for these projects, further reducing interfaces and delivering more predictable and cost-effective outcomes.

Our Worley Chemetics’ fabrication facility in Pickering, near Toronto is the largest global fabricator, supplier and designer of proprietary equipment for sulphuric acid and sodium chlorate plants, with over 5,000 installations. We design, fabricate, and supply heat exchangers, acid coolers, towers, vessels, and specialty equipment for the chemical, sulphuric acid, oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, nuclear, nitric acid, ammonia, urea, and fertilizer industries worldwide.

We also modularize large equipment, assembling on site during short plant shutdowns to minimize site downtime. And we have the capacity to address multiple project scopes, with over 1000 welding procedures developed in-house.

Worley Rosenberg is our fully integrated engineering, fabrication and construction environment in Stavanger, Norway. We design and build assets for offshore industries, with a growing focus on new markets including offshore floating wind, electrification, hydrogen and CCUS.

The fabrication yard has a large indoor production hall with the capacity for assembly and load-out of 8,000-tonne modules. Workshops for prefabricating structures along with piping and surface protection, indoor and outdoor storage areas, large drydocks, deep-water quaysides with shore power, three mobile cranes, as well as a 1,000 m2 waste handling station for sustainable waste management and recycling can be found on site.

We offer a permanent camp facility for workers on rotation, and have a certified training center for both on and offshore capabilities.

Our UK fabrication offering includes plating, welding, machining, structural steelwork, pipework, and electrical and instrumentation site services.

Our 10,500 sq ft workshop in Grimsby features a fully functioning pipework, structural, fabrication, mechanical, machining and electrical panel building workshop for fabrication, maintenance and breakdown services.

And our Hull Fabrication Facility features a 19,000 sq ft workshop area and has a fully functioning pipework, structural, fabrication workshop for large scale fabrication and PAU assembly.

Both our workshops are available 24/7 to support customer contracts and manufacturing for emergency breakdowns.

Our Modularization and Fabrication – Gulf Coast (MFGC) hub in Houston, Texas has 130,000 sq ft of indoor space and 18+ acres of yard space. There, we use the latest manufacturing technologies to build modules for energy and chemicals projects of all sizes. And using our decades of modular design and constructability knowledge, we build modules that are both affordable to transport, and efficient to install on project sites, which can be delivered anywhere in the world by land, sea, or air.

Our Alaska Fabrication facility in Anchorage features 55,000 sq ft of indoor fabrication space. At this ASME code shop, we design, fabricate, and supply piping, vessels, tanks, and modules, to support regional activity.
